  1. They are a copy of the Knights Armament iron sights and allows you to be a cool German SF type.
  2. No, it's a copy of the original type 3 AK recoil from TM. It's a CM.046 if you want to check it out.
  3. I like my VFC MPX AEG but I've never been a fan of the fat handguard. So off to the secret underground lair and I knocked up a version I prefer.
  4. Valid comments however Army made a nice clone of the recoil M4's (I've got one here that works a treat) and CYMA knocked out a recoil AK which was slightly better than the TM version because it took normal AEG AK mags straight out the box. I still think TM lead the way as all the other innovations have either been expensive, failed or both. Systema PTW, ICS split gearbox, GBLS, TOP shell ejecting AEG to name a few. Now it's unlikely TM will be reading this but just in case, hurry up and make a recoil G3 and stick a mosfet in the M4 recoil platform.
  5. thinking about getting a rail extension for my Scar so I printed a 3D version to see if I like the look.
  6. I like it. it's a Striborg SPG9 which is unofficially known as the poor mans ARP9 but seems well liked by the shooting community in the US. I made a 3D printed version a while back.
  7. Bought the S&T HK416 PDW with the idea of stealing the front end for my TM 416C recoil but sadly the rail doesn't fit. Since that meant I was keeping the S&T in one piece I binned the terrible PDW stock with a HK marked stock I had floating around and stuck on some HK iron sights as well. turns out it's quite a nice budget AEG.
  8. did a couple of things 3D printer related. First up, as I'm an idiot I managed to break the stock catch on my Well PPK20. Well make the part replaceable but currently there aren't any parts available so I designed one and sent it off to be printed in aluminum. I got a few extras for when I'm an idiot again. Next up I printed some of the impact grenades in a luminescent filament I had floating around. and lastly I designed a ammo tin styled box for the impacts for no other reason that I wanted to use my laser cutter.
  9. I just used a bunch of old aeg springs I have floating around. doesn't seem to need a M110.
  10. so good news and bad news. I replaced a few more parts and managed to fix the ECU. It ran for about 1 mags worth of BB's and died again once I did a bit of rapid semi auto. *EDIT* So I stripped it down again and luckily the motor connector had come away from the motor and once reattached the MP5 is now running fine. I'll give it a run out next weekend to see if it holds up. It's looking like I fixed the ECU.
  11. so the new Mosfets turned up and I replaced the knackered one. Still get the red light of death however I've stripped the board out again and found another 2 shorted resistors and a Cap showing open circuit. Now need to order these parts and fit them. I've got to say that working on the MP5 is quite nice as it strips down really easily.
  12. yeah, I'm upping the infill to 100% and I'm using bolts.
  13. update on the grenades, I had 3 break, friends steal 5, had one go off in my hand killing 9 of my teammates which was a comedy gold moment and generally they performed as well as I hoped they would. I'm going to knock up another load (and increase the infill on the parts that broke). they cost about £1 to make and I can't fault them.
  14. I found that by flipping the spring over (i.e. what was at the top is now at the bottom) fixes that issue. I ended up printing 10 of them and I also found that my Quake impact deadly customs holder is a good fit.
  15. So the parts arrived and I fitted the new diode and amp and.... it still doesn't work but it's not all bad news. I can connect a battery and go into dry fire mode and it happily flashes blue however as soon as I pull the trigger in either mode it turns solid red. I stripped it back down and I found that one of the mosfets has a short between source and drain. I think I missed that when checking the board. I've ordered some however it's from Aliexpress and no where else seems to have the SM4391NSKP mosfet even listed on their site. When they turn up I'll replace all 3 and see what happens. On another note, I found that if you get a solid red light followed by 3 quick red flashes then you have a motor issue.
  16. Building a load of these impact grenades. It cost's about £1 to make and they work flawlessly. big shout out to the original designer (FULCRUMAIRSOFT) and the files can be bought here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/airsoft-micro-grenade-impact-cap-gun-ring-sound-grenade-meteorite-meteor-lite-e-fulcrumairsoft
  17. weirdly I ordered some UMY1NTR's when I ordered the other blown diode replacement. I'll fit them both when they arrive and update. might be useful for other people that have a blown ECU.
  18. ok, still can't identify the mystery Y1. I traced the tracks on the faulty board and below are the results. pins 1 & 3 are chained together and end up at the programmable PIC16 IC. Pin 4 is ground and pins 2 and 5 go to the Gates on the Mosfet. I think pins 1&3 enable Y1 which puts a voltage on the mosfet gates allowing the mosfet to pass current. Basically when you pull the trigger, pin 28 goes high which tells the mosfets to fire via Y1. This also makes sense with the 3 round burst as the PIC will be programmed to stay open on pin 28 for a time duration (3 rounds worth). Could Y1 be an amplifier?
  19. No but I've got another MP5 here. I'll plug a battery in and see what's happening on the pin-outs of the 5 pins.
  20. buggered if I can find a 5-pin Zener. It's off the MP5 ECU and probably only needs to handle the TM 7.4v lipo so I'd imagine the 9v would work if I could find one
  21. Anyone good at identifying SMD components? I think this is a transistor but not 100% sure if it is and what type it is. Any help would be appreciated.
  22. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

Price Drop - knocked 30 quid off. Tokyo Marui MP7 AEP which has been upgraded with a slightly stronger spring and tight bore inner barrel bringing the FPS up to 310-315 using 0.2g BB's I've modded the AEP to take a Lipo battery (included) which uses a Mini Deans connector. This is reversable if needed. The other advantage of the mod is that the AEP can be powered from a PEQ battery box as an alternative to the internal Lipo. It comes with 8 mags in total, 1 x standard TM mid/low cap, 3 x Well midcaps (100bb's I think), 3 x TM hicaps (190) and 1 Well hicap (190). really nice little AEP to be honest but 2 x TM MP7 GBB's and my VFC MP7 AEG means this is better off with someone else who might actually use it. Price is £230 posted. No swaps.

  23. I think the person with the most confirmed hits or the biggest gun collection should represent airsoft, not some bunch of blokes who feel important enough to start their own "body" and like John Snow, know nothing.
  24. Doing a bit of maintenance and thinking about adding some Mosfets: Classic Army DSA FAL King Arms FAL Para JG DSA FAL
  25. anyone know the WELL airsoft homepage. my googlefu is simply awful today.
