    Can anyone tell me if this black bit can be removed from a gearbox without causing any problems, and what is it? The bit in the red circle. Only thing preventing the gearbox from going into my gun. http://imgur.com/R2MtZA6

      it's a part for the fake bolt hold open, it's connected to the bolt release on the receiver.

       

      What box are you fitting into what receiver?

      The idea was to fit a specna arms box into a King Arms BW15 receiver. Had to file those protruding bits that held the fake bolt thing for it to fit, but the specna shell doesn't have the protruding bit on the top for the charging handle to latch on to. Eventually ended up mixing the specna and king arms gearbox internals together inside the king arms shell. Turned out to be a pain but it is all in. Just wish I could test it, but I don't have a mini tamiya battery! (They're all...
