  3. GHK M4 with GHK G5 38rnd magazines. Best gas efficiency out there, you can go through about 110 shots on one gas charge (various tests on YouTube of this too)! As well as being steel (VERY IMPORTANT), the internals mimic a real M4 (aside from the bits needed to fire BBs instead of bullets, of course) as do the externals and features (I.e not being able to put the gun in safe if the hammer hasn't been cocked back). The recoil is the best I've felt by a long shot! GHK M4 MOD 1 or GHK M4 MOD 2 is definitely the way to go. TM MWS doesn't live up to it from my experience and TM recoils, PTWs, Systemas etc just don't interest me whatsoever. I'm biased to GBBRs so do take that into consideration (I find AEGs incredibly dull). Realism is also a major influence to me which is where it definitely wins over something like the MWS. If you're not big on gas and real cap mags (30 - 38) then definitely get something like a TM recoil. The recoil won't be as good as a GBBR but you get the benefit of it being an AEG I suppose and not having to reload for a couple years! The TM SCAR recoil shock would be a great choice. After all that, this is entirely my own opinion. Sure you can go get a Krytac or similar but if I'm going to spend a bunch of money then I'm going to want something that I'm personally going to find very fun as well as incredibly reliable.
  4. So it turns out that the store I ordered my RATECH GHK M4 forged AAC receiver from didn't actually have it in stock. But they're going to stock the new, more expensive version in 2 weeks and send it to me at no extra cost Saves me $40! I suppose I won't see it until next month though.
  5. Sold
  6. Wow, that is pretty cool! Definitely gonna read up on this, much appreciated!

  8. Yeah so after my purchase spree last night, I decided to order the RATech forged AAC receiver set for my GHK M4 to go along with the Svoboda AAC Blackout rail/steel barrel/gas tube/gas block. I definitely need to stop buying things for a while.
  9. Well, you definitely don't need UKARA to buy a receiver set if you're in the UK, that's for sure. You're not prompted to input a UKARA number or any type of defence with receivers like you are when buying full RIFs. I don't know how customs would react though, I hope that someone with a little more info comes along to help you out on this one. I shouldn't think it'd be a problem though.
  10. Thank you, I was very unclear before this! Much appreciated
  11. I had a similar situation! Instead of hitting my finger, it hit a bit of wood and ricocheted towards my TV screen. Just my luck, it hit the very bottom right of the screen (legitimately 1cm above the TV frame). Screen had a bunch of coloured lines so I got rid of it and bought a bigger TV to make myself feel better! I wish it had just hit my finger though.
  12. If you meant me, I just use the money I get from YouTube!
  13. Oh my intentions for this aren't to impress others, I was just genuinely wondering which solid colours would be the most suitable fit. I just like to have things matching Last thing I wanted was to order something that's advertised as coyote brown and looks great in pictures but then actually turns up looking much brighter or darker than expected. Before I got my multicam Flyye spartan vest, I was just going to wear some of the black gear I had (Flyye OTV, kneepads, boots and hat) over the MTP and get to a game. But yeah if there are things out there that match or work well with the colours and blend, then I'd much rather have that. All sorted now though
  14. I have probably spent WAY more than I should have but I've got some lovely stuff: -GHK M4 MOD 1 GBBR -SVOBODA AAC 300 Blackout rail/steel barrel/gas block/gas tube for the GHK (this threw my bank balance into the dark ages) -MOE replica stock and MOE K replica pistol grip -RATech steel bolt carrier -1j nozzle -G&G Green bucking -Stiffer buffer spring -A few GHK G5 magazines (they're bloody amazing!) -A few genuine Magpul Ranger Plates In a trade I got a multicam FLYYE Spartan vest (that's £400 I didn't have to spend, yay!) I plan to get the RATech forged AAC 300 Blackout receiver set for my GHK and possibly the SVOBODA AAC 300 Blackout suppressor (if I have money left). Pictures will be provided once it all arrives! For now, me and my bank card are going to lay low... Maybe. This is the plan anyway, but with some rail covers:
  15. Hopefully no one decides to put an actual mine down in an airsoft game! But thank you very much.. I did not know that Will definitely keep this in mind!
