  1. Well I traced the bank account to West Bromwich if I remember correctly but he was Polish (he was quite difficult to converse with). However, after suspecting he wasn't completely legit after the transaction, I tried to see if he'd still try to sell the gun to 'someone else' (me on another account and also a friend) and he did try to sell to both of us (and eventually a bunch of other people). Each account/person asked about a collection address but he gave different addresses around the Manchester area. Never gave the same address to two people and eventually became hostile to each one, probably to stop them from being interested in collection. I didn't expect much to happen but the fact that he's been reported a few times sort of gave a little faith that it'd be looked into. Can't remember the exact email I got from Action Fraud about 2 months after but it was something along the lines of them telling me they won't be investigating it any further but they'll keep note of the case.
  2. Just to update as advised by Jedi_Master, the Police/Action Fraud haven't done anything. He's continued to scam and people have contacted me asking about any additional details so that they can report him but again, nothing has been done. Just to clarify, his name is Michał Lech on Facebook and seems to use Majkel45 on Weapon Crates. Please be cautious as it seems that fraud in the second hand sales of the airsoft world seems common but nothing is done. To be fair, it is partially my fault for trusting him with bank transfer. Remember, only pay via PayPal Goods & Services or face to face if possible.
  3. Thank you all
  4. Hi! I bought 4x KWA Kriss Vector mags last week from 2 different sellers (2 from each seller). 2 of them have arrived and the seller was fantastic, but the other seller hasn't responded when asked if the mags have been posted, for a tracking number or some other proof of postage. The user simply just goes online (after a few days), reads the message and heads back offline for another few days. I believe I've sent 3 messages*? The mags I bought from him were meant to arrive either last Saturday or last Monday if a 3 day courier was used. The fact that it has been more than a week (assuming they'd be delivered Sat) since I expected delivery and not having any responses from the seller is a bit weird. Nothing takes this long unless it is coming from Asia or similar (the seller is in the UK). *First message was right after payment asking the seller to let me know once the mags had been posted. (No response) Second message was similar to the first, I assumed he may have missed the message or forgotten. (No response) Third message was asking for either a tracking number or proof of postage. (No response) It'd odd as the seller has an almost perfect positive feedback score so I don't know what to think. I can't seem to get him to respond so when would it be understandable to open a PayPal dispute? I paid via goods & services. Thanks!
  5. I've sent multiple GBBR magazines in the last few weeks via Parcelforce and haven't had an issue in my experience. I've also received multiple GBBR magazines via Royal Mail (both 1st and 2nd class). In fact, 2 KWA Kriss Vector mags came to my door about 10 mins ago! Those are my experiences. Haven't had anything destroyed or returned yet.
  6. Bump
  7. Like the MOE/CTR stocks, you'll only be able to fit the small LiPo batteries in the tube
  8. Had this one one of my old AEGs and loved it. Would definitely recommend it to the OP. Probably the most well built stock out there! This Madbull one looks much better than the real steel one which is odd
  9. If you buy a CTR or MOE then you're going to have to buy one of those small LiPos that fit in the buffer tube as the stocks themselves have no storage options
  10. Bump £130
  11. Oh damn that's an unfortunate story man, quite interesting though. I've always wanted to hyrdodip something, looks pretty cool Nice work
  12. Yeah I'm quite interested to hear why they'd take them away too. Did you try to get them back at all?
  13. Is it okay to send a gas magazines via Royal mail to Slovakia?

What's the best courier for gas mags, expresse48 via Parcelforce?

Nope - UPS with a business account, only ones who won't regularly seize and destroy.

  14. Anyone ever had a visit from Police after ordering firearm parts from the USA (Via brownells UK), such as a stock and pistol grip?

I just had a Glock 19 safariland arrive and I haven't had police round. Maybe they've come up with the genius solution to check the UKARA register just to see if the recipient is already a registered skirmisher for buying RIFs.

(To be honest, I'm terrified of armed police coming round - I'm worried they're get their facts wrong, try some forced entry, then shoot our dogs, let our brain damaged rescue cat out (who'll never find her way back even after 5 years here) and damage our antique piano during a search. Repairing a small scratch on that can cost in excess of £700.)

Apparently they like to arrive a week or so later to check up on you and the package. If it does happen then it's just likely to be two officers, according to those who have had the experience

  15. £50 just about gets me one mag If I'm lucky...
