  3. Since getting the DSR, it's reignited my interest in grey/black. So much so that I even bought a RWA Agency Arms Urban Combat (cerakoted Agency grey) G17 (TM base). Haven't got a picture to hand but I also bought a bit of gear. Ordered a shemagh too but on a different site (neck shots are hell). Can't wait! Grey and black loadout was initially inspired by a game I used to play quite a lot. Will be keeping my usual MPT trousers and whatnot though. P.S I absolutely love FLYYE's products.
  4. Krytac are good out of the box and will suit those who don't particularly want to mess around with the inner workings of their guns. However, their external build quality isn't the best. Their M4 variants seem to be pot metal and commonly snap at the lower receiver (towards the rear). As long as you're not using it to smash down doors, it'll be fine. I personally don't see why there's such hype surrounding them though. Not trying to bring them down or anything but I'm just pointing out that they're not the 'perfect' company the majority seem to make them out to be. Forever wishing AF-UK allowed you to upload images larger than 0.00001kb... Here's the point at which they're weak: https://krytac.forumchitchat.com/post/fragile-lower-receivers-8585585 As aforementioned, ICS, G&G, TM and G&P are incredible choices. G&P also has great external build quality. TM are usually plastic but they're magical internally. G&G are cheap and cheerful, they'll get the job done. ICS seem to have always been brilliant and their split gearbox design is very convenient. I've also heard nothing but good things from Specna Arms and their quick spring change system. Realistically, you're not going to go wrong with any of these brands. If I were in your situation then I'd probably be leaning toward G&P, but that's just personal preference.
  5. Yeah must be Redwolf. I've ordered some of the new GHK pmags and they're set to arrive today. Customs did hold them and charge me but didn't ask for a defence. Just my luck, no one else who ordered the pmags got held up with customs or charged...
  6. Wolf Armouries and ProAirsoftSupplies are my two local stores. Both have been excellent. I bought an optic from PAS and ended up not liking it. Took it back to the store and they refunded me straight away. Their store is great and they've got some nice stuff, just a shame that a lot of it is out of stock. Had history with Wolf Armouries for about 8 years or so, never really had an issue with them. Their store looks fantastic inside too! They're both based in London so you'd probably need them to deliver but I'd recommended both.
  7. Thank you for such a detailed response! I would never have guessed that your SCAR has been painted, looks incredible. I've actually wanted to strip some guns down to their bare metal so that's very useful information. I'll definitely take a look at that video and leave a comment Cheers!
  8. Very nice! May I ask what you've put around the scope? Looks pretty cool
  9. Honestly, nice work! I've seen many attempts at paint removal and they usually come out looking a bit dodgy at best, but you've done a perfect job on that. I'll be keeping Diall's in mind should I ever need to remove paint!
  10. Lads, it's here. The ARES DSR-1! Disassembled and cleaned it as soon as it arrived and it is f*cking incredible!
  11. Parcelfarce van just parked outside for a minute and then buggered off! Top quality service

Ended up calling Parcelforce and telling them to get the driver back here! Sure enough, he arrived minutes later saying "he couldn't find the address". He was right outside

  12. Unfortunately my local site is also CQB I'm by no means a sniper, but that didn't stop me. I've wanted this beast since I first saw it. Might have to give sniping a go but if that doesn't go according to plan, it's certainly nice to look at! I just really like 'futuristic' looking stuff I suppose.
  13. I've noticed that, we seem to get the same stuff I paid £450 and I'm also sending him a plate carrier (he knocked off £200 of the original asking price for it). Gun comes with 4 mags, 2 still sealed in their packaging and is in brilliant condition! I really can't wait. Do you have a picture of your DSR?
  14. I sorta went ahead and bought the gas powered Ares DSR-1. Should arrive Wednesday but I'm incredibly excited as I've wanted one for years but never saw it as something I could obtain. I'm very happy, but my bank balance isn't
  15. You seem quite experienced with AEGs and you've had some pretty good ones like the scorpion. However, if you're still looking elsewhere, have you tried looking in to gas blow back rifles? If you're keeping it strictly AEG then yes, TM recoil would be your best bet. Although they perform better with a BTC Spectre. You'll need TM recoil mags to fit.
