Whether it's a joke or not, the comparison to Nazi Germany is insulting to those persecuted there for simply existing. As already said, halls of residence inspections and monitoring internet usage aren't exactly a novelty. Universities have reputations to uphold and especially in this age where Britain is becoming more like its ally from across the Atlantic with its litigous tendencies, they have to be vigilant to avoid being held liable and thus give grounds to be sued. To that point about being sued, universities have something called public liabilty insurance to protect or mitigate themselves from injury to people or damage to property within the confines of the university. As the halls of residence are the responsibility of the university and that it has a duty of care with internet usage, it doesn't take an overactive imagination to guess that many public liability insurance policies for a university are contingent on them not allowing weapons or replicas in the halls of residence and that they have safeguards and "counselling" policies in place over web usage. University culture isn't "absolutely mad" in that respect. It reflects the society we live in today where you have to be especially careful to keep your arse covered.

Hi i have for sale my Ares Thompson M1a1 EBB First off and I'm being totally honest it has been used for reenactment and Airsoft so it's a bit battle worn, selector switches both work fine semi to full is a bit loose easily tightened up same with safety it's also been rewired back to normal as the butt stock now can't be detached It works perfectly The fps 335 , upgrades zci 6.02mm barrel , maple leaf 60 degree bucking and omega nub. gearbox is quick change and is wired for tamy connections As this has been used in reenactment the full wood has been sand and re-stained and linseed oiled and has come out very nice worn in battle look . comes with 5 x Metal 200rd short mags, 5 x 120rd long plastic mags, 2 x420rd long metal high cap mags . sling and Thompson's magazine bag . price £260 ovno buyer pays fee and postage via Parcelforce 48£260

Catch the train from Clapham Junction to Three Bridges, and there are a few good woodland sites within a very short taxi ride. As a rental player, my instinct says that, of those, you would have a better time at Driver Wood- where the terrain is a bit more of a leveller when you have the rental kit than at Dogtag.

Nope, inserted the right way. I did continue to play with it before i came to work and the selector does sit flat ish on the gearbox. I've put it back in the reciever and, apart from forgetting to put the selector spring back in, it selects fine. I'll finish it off when i get up tomorrow and report back.
-
Weird It looks to me it will still interfere because the groove on your selector plate doesn't look deeper than the 1.12 mm that you need, because the upper surface is supposed to be touching the gearbox surface when installed, so the grooves need to be deeper than your protruding bearing to go over it But, you can just swap the bearings around, put the thicker one below and the thinner one above, problem solved And just to check, you haven't inserted the bearings from the outside, right?
