Or he is probably referencing that kit gets stolen / falls out of the back of QMs / sold because a squaddie gets their hands on multiples “Authorised” army surplus comes out via contracted routes Soldier exchanges item at QMs Depending on the item, condition etc it goes back on the shelf or thrown into a box Everyone nose dives the box (not part of the process) Box gets transferred to bulk container / skip Container / skip goes to contractor (paid by weight) Contractor disposes / processes / sells Contract has a line entry for profit share back to MoD During the nose dive squaddies obtain extra items to be exchanged at a later date, claim to redistribute to cadets etc to “save the MoD the cost of disposal” and to “save the costs to cadets/cadet units” ….. and contract disposal costs go up because the usable contents have disappeared. Items end up in car boot sales and eBay Things can be redirected in a legitimate manner, such as Royal Navy life boats chopped up and passed through the RM charity

    Honestly I don't understand CNC'ing parts and then assembling them with crappy hardware, make your mind up, is it premium or not. I'd prefer them to skimp out on my ironsights or stock, atleast if I go to replace them they won't just fall to bits.

    Hi all, I'm looking to get into airsoft teching and am searching for my first project gun to learn on. I'm looking for a boneyard M4 (or any common V2-based rifle) that is externally mostly complete but internally non-functional. I'm happy to take on guns with common, fixable problems, including: Electrical faults (e.g., just stopped working, blows fuses) Jammed / locked up on semi-auto Running sluggishly or sounding 'whiny' Stripped or grinding gears I'll also consider guns with broken or missing external parts (like stocks, handguards, grips, etc.) as long as it's a common model where spares are easy to find. The main receiver (upper and lower) should be intact. The only things I'm trying to avoid are guns with cracked gearbox shells or a literal 'box of parts'. If you have an old, unloved rifle gathering dust that fits this description, please send me a PM with: A quick description of the gun. What's wrong with it (if you know). How much you'd like for it.     Reckon my neighbours toddler could build something with better quality than most those rifles Haven't seen anything made of paper thin plastic in many years To be fair, one looks like a cyma combat machine and I think the other M4 is a cyma aswell Pistol is a cyma pea shooter 10000% Edit: I take that back* (It's definitely some cheap shit) This is pretty damn cool but completely unusable at 99% of sites in the UK Id still buy it though 🤫

    As it's intermittent, I suspect the middle arm of your sear spring may be slightly misaligned from the hammer as I had something similar. I had to re-seat the spring on one of mine when I had that problem with the hammer.
