Abandoned the silicone oil soak after your message. I did however try tightening the valve then stored for a week with maintenance gas and leak has stopped now... i always store my gas mags with a puff of maintenance gas in them, but make sure to purge them before use to limit any lubricants going in hop unit TBH I don't think it's that bad weight wise... Two biggest issues I have noted so far (with only 2 game days so far) for me are reloading... its a faff to unlatch the front plate and swap the mag in the drum on the field, so i did need the pair of spare drums at an outdoor field where I could use full auto.... That and I need to get a proper period correct sling for it (either genuine or repro) so I can run it as a secondary. I was running a kombat MTP sling on it last weekend at the ollie talks airsoft memorial game at C3, but had to fiddle to get it through the sling point on the stock... and may have to cut the sling off the stock at this rate Had two marshalls and several players all fawning over it..... until I mentioned the price... and all but one player were impressed with it's rate of fire on full auto.... that one player being one of three birthday boys who had to run a gauntlet.... everyone was taking turns on the firing line checking their weapons were feeding, while the gauntlet trio stood 20m down range.... and then my turn... *BRRRRRTT*... this one guy then shuffled to the far side of the gauntlet and shouted back "fuck that. Thats just evil"

I wish to relive some nostalgia of my first PTW that I stupidly sold in a moment of madness. I am on the hunt for preferably a 08 or 2012 Systema PTW M16a3 (I could be pursued on an a2 or an ‘A4’ style). I’d like it to be more or less factory or tac modded, convenience mods like a deans connector would be splendid. Other than that i do not want any fruity “mk12” shenanigans. Just a bog standard long boi M16. No stupid prices please as it’s not 2013 when PTWs were the rage. I do not require a gazillion mags, one or two would be a nice touch to top up my aging collection. No fancy spares just the pewpew, maybe a mag or 2. Yeah, plus it's about AK length. I think people play some video games and hear SMG expecting it to be tiny and nimble. Haven't held the VFC but held a deac PPSh once and yeah, the gun is heavy and the drum really weighs it down more. The drum wasn't even loaded lmao. Those Soviet teenagers had to have eaten their Weetabix let's put it that way.

Bought this as a two tone off a bloke who was a collector and it functions perfectly fine, and is mostly in good cosmetic condition apart from the repainted handguard and stock. The gun shoots and cycles very well for what I assume is completely stock internals and has a nice recoil as you'd want from a GBBR. The standard mag was previously repaired for a leak by the recent owner and seems to have held up well for me. The drum mag works perfectly fine too and is able to keep up with the gun's rate of fire no problem at all. I don't know the FPS but it does look quite snappy. Could be site legal as is, but could also be shooting hot. I've no chrono at the moment so I can't say for sure, just be aware it might need lower power gas or an NPAS installing for site use. The only downside to this gun IMO is the cosmetic condition of the handguard and stock. The body of the gun has light weathering where you'd expect it but the handguard and stock were originally two tone blue. And that blue paint looked like it was mixed in with wall cavity filler and applied using a fistful of donner meat - it took about 3 hours of sanding with 120grit just to get it to the point where it is now which still wasn't perfect. I then slapped a few coats of black paint over it, did a wet sanding to take the glossy edge off and that's where you see it now. Its matt, isn't tacky, and has a somewhat smooth texture, but it could really do with stripping down properly (the only paint stripper I had would have turned the polymer and my nostrils into mulch hence why I had to use sandpaper) and repainting again. Unless you like the weathered but unrealistic look it has now, then pop-off queen. I got this a short while back because it was one of those bucket list RIFs for me but unfortunately it doesn't do anything for me that my gimped out MWS doesn't already do better. And the HK slap was a fun novelty but it can't keep this gun in my arsenal all by itself. I'm happy to provide additional pictures or videos of it working. Open to offers, May consider in-person swaps, Collection is welcome otherwise it will be sent via ParcelForce. Postage is £10.£300

The problem: i can't fit all my 7.62's in my viper rig when playing with my MC51. The solution: Mishmash pattern shinianigins (MPS) It's a 58 yolk ("repaired") with righthand (kidney) misc pouch, the pistol mag pouches will cover smokes and pistol mags, a triple and the black bottle pouch and side misc would be speed loader, water and any snacks and to finish out the load. It all fits well together, will feedback if I can get shooting again this summer!
